If you are stuck as to what to get someone for Christmas then a membership for the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo could be the perfect gift. And you don’t just have to get a membership for a youngster - you can always buy one for the whole family.

Lynda Johnson from the BAMZ said: “A membership makes a great gift.”

Ms Johnson said they usually get a number of people buying memberships for Christmas presents. “We also have people buying gift cards for our shop,” she added.

The cheapest membership is only $10 and that is for students (1318 years of age).

Then seniors only have to pay $15.

For adults over 18 years old the membership is $45 while a family membership (Killifish Family) costs $75.

For membership purposes, a family is defined as the parents and their immediate children under the age of 18 or in full-time education. A family membership can have no more than two adults named on the membership card. In the case of a single parent family, one other adult may be named on the card. Additional benefits include booking privileges for Aqua Camp participants.

A Killifish Grandparent membership costs $75 and that includes two grandparents and up to three grandchildren (age 18 and under) or one grandparent and four grandchildren (age 18 and under) to be named on the card. Additional grandchildren’s names may be added to the card at $5 per child. Additional benefits include booking privileges for Aqua Camp participants.

Ms Johnson said: “A membership allows the person to come in every day of the year except Christmas and they discount in the gift shop for their purchases. They also get our monthly newsletters. We also send out a lot of things electronically which is great for the kids.”
