Ocean Vet pilot film released

Dr Neil Burnie has released a pilot film for Ocean Vet, a series that has the potential to be developed into an Animal Planet series.

The film shows the local vet and co-founder of the Bermuda Shark Project “tagging and swimming with 800lb tiger sharks to gliding through the waters with migrating humpback whales.”

Independent production company Gass Productions were on island filming last month and have contributed shows to Animal Planet's Rod and Rucksack series. They have already produced two separate seasons for Animal Planet and Bermuda could be the next "big thing" to hit the screens.
