100 Years of BAMZ

Celebrating the Past. Investing in the Future.

This year, BAMZ celebrates 100 years of connecting people with Bermuda's natural world. As we mark this remarkable milestone and recognize 50 years of support from BZS, we are proud to launch the Aquarium 100 Campaign.

Join us in celebrating and helping to shape the next century of discovery!

EXPLORE

EDUCATION

We are educators, scientists, and conservationists dedicated to inspiring young people to explore, understand, and protect Bermuda’s natural environment. Through our hands-on programmes, we bring science to life, giving students the tools and experiences they need to become confident, curious, and environmentally aware learners.

TRUNK ISLAND

At seven acres, Trunk Island is the largest island in Harrington Sound and one of Bermuda’s hidden gems. Surrounded by seagrass beds, rocky coastlines, and palmetto forest, it is both a natural sanctuary and a hub for education.

BZS MICRO FOREST PROJECT

We believe conservation does not always need a large footprint to make a big difference. The Micro Forest Project is our way of turning small spaces into thriving native forests that help fight climate change, restore biodiversity, and reconnect people with nature.
